The list of chroots in project settings is starting to get too long because we no longer provide support for Fedora and EPEL only. We have OpenSUSE, Mageia, and some others, and many more in mock-core-configs.

I am creating this RFE a bit prematurely but once we add support for some other distribution or two, we should take a look at this.

I can not find it, but I proposed somewhere a table ... where distros are rows, and architectures are columns.

@pgnd proposed on irc a foldable approach.

A part of this could be adding a short explanation for each group. Feedback from Matrix:

t0dd So … is there a nice succinct help page or some such to explain all the EPEL+RHEL+CENTOS+WTF chroots? I thought I knew this stuff inside and out, but I am more than a little baffled at this point. I couldn't find anything in the COPR help pages. This is confusing: "centos-stream+epel-next-9-x86_64"

The comment suggests some table in the documentation but I'd rather incorporate the explanation directly into the chroot selection page.
