testcases list contains all language variants #710

that are only different language variants of the same test case.

I'm not sure if much can be done here, because mediawiki doesn't support localization natively, and therefore it's hard to distinguish standard wiki pages from just translated wiki pages. And you still want to display them in Bodhi, for the Russian/other users.

But honestly, I'm not sure if localized test case make much sense. We don't have neither a good workflow nor good tools to support this, and even if we did, the feedback and bug reports still needs to be in an universal language, which seems to be english at the moment.

AFAICS the language variants just have a suffix with a slash and a two-character language code (for example /ru). This is IMHO very easy to distinguish from the original test case.

Unless there happens to be a legitimate test case named QA:Testcase_video_driver/nv, which talks about testing the nv video driver (which is no longer in development, but that's not the point, it demonstrates a valid test case name with the same structure, and not a localized page).

One option is to not show them, another to show the language variants in parentheses, e.g.: Test Case intelvideo rotate (ru) - where (ru) is the link to the russian translation.

This does not seem to be a usual test case name, AFAICS the test case should be named QA:Testcase_nv_video_driver.

I agree this makes sense.

We don't have any restrictions on wiki page names. So yes, Bodhi devs can write some reasonable heuristics, but it's not going to be absolutely reliable and there could be some false negatives.

Is this still a problem? If so, do we have a clear proposal to solve it?
