[l10n] can we translate FAS? #142

Hi there, it looks like no text is available for translation in Zanata, does it mean all languages are 100% translated ? https://fedora.zanata.org/project/view/fas

Do you plan on create a connexion between FAS and Zanata in the future ?

laxathom commented 8 years ago

Hi Jibec,

This zanata project's page is for FAS 3.0, not current version in prod. I did not sync up with latest changes due to texts being still adding to the app. We're closed to release an alpha version in our staging instance which will provide texts to be translate in zanata in the next coming weeks.

I pluged fedora translation platform: https://github.com/fedora-infra/fas/pull/281

is this version the one live now? if not, where is the correct place?

I see there is fas component in Weblate, but locked. Why is it locked? What is missing to allow us, translators, to contribute to this project?

Jibec commented 3 years ago

well, there is a message in weblate to exaplin: this project is old and only here for translation memory, please contribute to noggin, the future FAS application

rffontenelle commented 3 years ago

@Jibec Ah, I didn't see that message. thanks.

Closing this issue as the FAS project is now archived, not actively developed, and unmaintained.

FAS was replaced in March 2021 by Fedora Accounts (https://accounts.fedoraproject.org).

If this issue is a Feature Request that you forsee might be beneficial to Fedora Accounts, please refile it against Noggin

Fine, I learned it and infra people did a great work to add localization support in noggin, thanks for writing it so that external readers can understand :)
