Well, I thought it was the flatpak thing, but on the other hand, "Add world clocks..." and "Select weather location..." both work OK, and the apps those launch (Clocks and Weather) are also installed as flatpaks...
I only have an old SB38 VM (up-to-date), but it seems to work okay for me when I tried now.
I cannot reproduce this either on Fedora Linux 38.20230409.n.0 (Silverblue Prerelease)
Looks like folks can not reproduce so I'll close this one. Feel free to comment if you have more info.
This still reproduces just fine in openQA. There may be some difference between a freshly-installed system and a 'real' one here; if you want to reproduce it, please do so with a fresh install. I guess it may depend whether there are any events in the Today area? Anyhow, I tried dropping the workaround we added (skip this part of the test on Silverblue) and re-running it, and it failed in exactly the same way.
We'll have to try this again.
Describe the bug In Fedora Workstation, if you click the clock in the top bar, then click the Today panel below the calendar on the right, it launches the Calendar app. On Silverblue, it doesn't. I presume this is to do with Calendar being a flatpak, not an RPM.
To Reproduce Please describe the steps needed to reproduce the bug:
Expected behavior Calendar should open.
OS version: Affects all Silverblue, AFAICT.
