This PR changes the masthead background to be white by default.
The old version used a dark-turquoise background. I'm guessing this is why most pages have image_fullwidth: "" in their header, since that removes the background colour (while raising an error in the console).

Visually, the PR doesn't change much, except that the gap between the logo and text is reduced in the About/Team pages, and the logo gets hidden in the mobile version.
The trailing slash in _config.yml was also removed since it was creating urls with double slashes.
