Fleet maintenance records (still trying to figure out why one driver’s mileage is so screwy) #10

@Kplow76 It seems like feature is going to require building at least one more type of content 'A truck'. With that, you'll be able to add, delete, and edit trucks. Admins also need to assign trucks to staff drivers for their daily routes. Reports on trucks will then need to be created that show stats on miles, oil changes, and tire rotations. Then notifications would need to be created for when items are coming up on a change. We'd probably also want to make a check to let everyone know the oil change (or whatever) happened and start tracking again from then.

I write all this to say, we could do all this, but it would be a bigger feature than you might expect. An alternative might be using something like https://automatic.com/ I'm not sure if this exact product works on the big truck or not, but something like this might be the way to go. We could even look into pulling some of the information into the admin area via an API so you don't have to check five different apps for your info.

@Kplow76 can you provide the make, model and year of the delivery trucks y'all use / are going to be using?

We have 4 trucks currently being used. Trucks 1, 2 and 4 (truck 3 was retired) are Isuzu's. And Truck 6 (Truck 5 was sold) is a 2018 Dodge. I will get you specifics and get back to you.
