Description

If you add a web app to your iPhone Home Screen, it gets its own storage. If you have iCloud Backup turned on, this storage is apparently included in your iPhone iCloud backup. This is good!

However, the iCloud Backup Details screen does not list the installed web app(s) among other apps on the list of apps using up the space.

What this means is that if you have a web app installed which uses a lot of storage (which is not a problem in itself) then that will use up a lot of space in your iCloud Backup but you can't tell that it's using up that space, because it's not listed in the list of apps in Backup Details. This leads to a large mismatch between the size of the backup you think you should be getting (by adding up the space used by listed apps in the Backup Details screen) and the size of the backup you're actually getting (much bigger, because it includes storage used by Home Screen web apps but doesn't say that it's including them, or give any way to stop including them).
