Apple reply:
After reviewing your feedback, we have some additional information for you.
This is intended behavior. The Siri Found in Apps calendar includes events generated from the user’s Mail, Messages, and other applications. Events that show up in this calendar have not yet been approved by the user. It would be a privacy issue if we allowed third party apps to see the contents of this calendar directly. Instead, a user must accept a Siri Found in Apps event suggestion by adding that event to another calendar. At that point the event will be visible to third party applications that have acess to the calendar.
My reply:
Thanks for the reply. That makes perfect sense. Would be great if the EventKit docs would mention this: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/eventkit
Description
I expected all calendars shown in the Calendar app to be available to EventKit, even generated ones.
