Works for me :) - although it is a little slow... and there have been Reeder syncing issues reported here previously, the suggestion was to re-add the feedbin account - but I guess you have tried that.
Might be worth re-installing Reeder to see if that helps.
I am on version 3.1 - presumably you are on that version too.
I've tried all of those things and have been in contact with @benubois but, as of yet, we've been unable to find a solution. :(
I've got the same problem. Tried a few different things and contacted both Ben and reeder support. I did a complete reinstall of iOS on my iPhone and reeder started syncing and showing items but the following day it stopped again.
Yeah, I tried a restore of my iPhone and that didn't fix the problem. Could it have anything to do with the feeds that we're subscribed to?
How many feeds do you have? I will check how many I have...
I've got approx 30 feeds, so not many at all really.. I did try removing all my feeds and then adding 2 via reeder but I had the same problem
I have 400 feeds... and not getting any problems syncing
I think the issue is unrelated to which or how many feeds you've subscribed to.
With both @matthewjj's and @notverypc's accounts I was able to sync with Reeder.
I was thinking maybe it's a device/iOS version issue, but no luck there either as everybody so far has been on recent hardward and iOS versions.
@matthewjj and @notverypc I don't know how much time you want to put into this, but one useful thing might be to look at the traffic Reeder is sending out and receiving when running Feedbin which may pinpoint where it gets stuck. Here's a writeup on how to do this.
@benubois I'll put as much time as needed into figuring this out. I want to keep using Feedbin.
EDIT: I installed and captured some data with Charles. What do you need from it?
I'll have a look laters.. To be honest it'll bug me till someone works out what's going on so I'll spend as much time as I can...
With the help of @benubois there is a work around.. Change the Region Format to United States on your iOS device.
Problem solved! My Region Format was already set to United States but my Language was set to British English. I reverted the language to English and syncing works!
I'm having this issue. Reeder on the iPhone isn't syncing to Feedbin at all. I followed the steps to change my region as described above, and it worked for a while, but no longer works again as of this morning.
Is this an issue with Feedbin or Reeder and is there a fix in the works? Is there another work-around I can use for now (other than using Feedbin in the iOS browser)?
@beingbrendan here's my settings for reeder that work: Settings>General>International Language = British English Voice Control = English Region Format = United States Calendar = Gregorian
I removed my feedbin account then changed the setting and then re-added feedbin into reeder.
Thanks! Much appreciated, these settings seem to be working for me at the moment, although hopefully there is a long term solution in the works (not ideal changing the region).
There needs to be an update to reeder to fix this problem.
UK people using the Slow Feeds iOS app have reported the same problem. Changing the iPhone region to US as a workaround works.
For those in the UK using Feedbin with reeder you need to enable the 24hr clock. Doing this resolves the issue with reeder. Thanks for this fix/workaround goes to the Slow Feeds iOS app developer (http://zoziapps.ch/slowfeeds/)
Reeder 3.2 is out. You can use any region you like now: https://itunes.apple.com/app/reeder/id325502379
Much better with the new Reeder (and thus new API) - thanks.
I can't get any items to show up in Reeder on my iPhone. I can see all of my subscriptions but neither new items nor read items show up in any of my feeds. I have removed and re-added Feedbin to the app and still nothing. I can go to the Feedbin website and there will be unread items but nothing syncs to Reeder. I don't know if this is a problem with Reeder or with Feedbin but I figured I'd start here.
