(How do) taged articles work? #230

To start with something positive, feedbin has imported all my almost 5000 starred items, yeah! (Unlike Feedly and the others).

(How do) taged articles work? Some of my starred items are in "scrapbook" and in Google Reader have a tag (label) "InScrapbook" and for some only the title is enough, so I did not put them into Scrapbook and they don't have that tag. However, it seems to me that feedbin basically has tags per feed, not per article, is that correct? If not, are the article tags imported from starred.json? I checked and the file does contain them.

This is correct. Tags currently work a lot like folders. However they are called tags because 1) you can give multiple to the same feed and 2) they cannot be put inside each other.

I don’t think they are. The Feedbin API has no such thing as tags per entry so even if they were they are completely inaccessible. I haven’t noticed them being imported with my starred items.
