Perhaps this is hijacking the thread... but being able to filter feeds generally would be handy. For example, I have a feed that contains, 2 kinds of things, but I am more interested in one kind than the other - so being able to artificially split the feeds into 2 would be good - one I can read in more detail, the other I can read/ignore, as I choose.
Thanks.
Yahoo Pipes is pretty great at manipulating RSS feeds. It takes input RSS feeds and you can merge them, filter them, then get an output RSS feed you can subscribe to in feedbin. I don't think feedbin needs to be able to do this and I'd rather the developers get basic sorting of tags and feeds in tags working(come on!). An example of using Yahoo Pipes to filter would be making a Penny Arcade RSS feed that only contains the comics.
I’ve just pushed a feature I’m calling Actions. Rather than having a straight filter, you’ll be able to perform a number of actions (mark as read, star and push notifications so far) for matched articles.

Let me know how you like it.
Works great, thanks!
Send to Instapaper as an action would be another great addition.
It would be gret to have a filter to automatically mark as read articles that match keywords or phrases.
