I can add the Funranium feed to FeedBin but it is missing entries #423

When I add the Funranium feed, it shows the entry titled "Alcoholism in Antarctica" only. That entry is in the feed, but it's not the newest (or the oldest, for that matter).

I took a look at the feed, however by the time I got to it it was already up-to-date.

I think I know what may have happened though.

Feedbin only refreshes feeds that people are subscribed to. I’m guessing that somebody was subscribed to it back in June and then they cancelled their account leaving 0 subscribers. In the meantime the feed was not refreshed so that when you came along and subscribed there were only old posts.

Once you subscribed, the feed was added back into the refresh rotation and received the updates.

This does raise an issue though. Maybe Feedbin should attempt to update the feed before subscribing you so that you see the latest content.

Does that make sense?

Ah hah, that makes sense. I see all of the posts now too.

Getting future updates is the most important thing. Feedbin updating it when I subscribe would be nice but I'm happy as long as I get updates going forward.
