I've just realised that tags are feed-level and not article-level. I was planning on tagging certain articles with 'share-bro' in the hope that this tag would result in a feed of its own which my brother could add to his feed reader. tt-rss provides for this.
As it's not possible with Feedbin alone, I might sign up to Pinboard to achieve this as tagged bookmarks there do have feeds.
I am new to feedbin and I was surprised when I tried to tag an article it tagged the entire feed. Most of the feeds I subscribe to cover a wide range of "taggable" topics so tagging the entire feed, while good, has limitations. This kind of tagging is good for high level generalized organization such as "UX" or "Javascript" but not very good for more meaningful organization.
If I want to look at articles that are specific to user research, for example, I will look through 10 different UX feeds (that are tagged "UX"). I will also look through those same 10 feeds if I'm searching for Information Architecture articles. I would like to be able to tag articles as I read them so that I can easily go back and research and review. In the past I used native browser bookmarking to handle this, but feedbin doesn't support bookmarkable urls! :(
It would be awesome if you can provide support for tagging individual articles. This way we can better organize the content that comes into feedbin. Thanks!
