Should really be easy. Important steps:

[x] Be able to pass in from when the backup should be restored. This might require setting a naming convention for the backup files.
[x] Create volume to download extension to
[x] Use xtrabackup to stream, uncompress, and prepare the backup
[x] Move the backup directory to correct place
[x] Set correct owners
[x] Alert user when all this is done so the MySQL service can be started.'
[ ] Testing
