I've created a PR to the update-update-script branch of the mongodb repo, so that a new PR would be created here that would use the updated version of the update-param.js script from this PR. #271 was created here, where you can see that mongo-replica-affinity.json was updated as expected.
Also, make the script nicer to look at.
