I don't run KDE so am not totally sure of what changes might be needed.

It does use GConf for saving settings, which I'm guessing would not work on KDE or
other desktops.

As far as I know the appindicator is only for Gnome and KDE at the moment, maybe XFCE
too? So I guess getting it working in KDE may be good to start with.

Any updates about KDE support? I would like to have it in my plasma 5:)
