There were room for improvements in the following areas:

Testing pipeline: since it did not provide end-to-end tests;
Codebase: move from JS to TypeScript and avoid direct DOM manipulations;
Isolated Shortcut Guide: to allow more flexibility to developers wanting to creating their own component."

Changed bundler from babel to vite
Replaced jest with cypress
Converted Javascript to Typescript
Added documentation
Revised the file structure
Refactored code with React best practices
Converted the ShortcutGuide into a prop, making it overridable and customizable
