Textsmith should be hosted somewhere directly usable by commoners. Shortlisted domain names include:

There should be a bar at the bottom indicating version (does this need to be updated manually or can the version number be put in automatically?), and links pointing to the github/contact page.

textsmi.th also seem to be available Thailand cctld.

From memory git doesn't have version number for each commit.

Is it possible so that a tag will automatically become a part of the content? I vaguely remember something like this being mentioned in some random class on CVS. A date stamp at the very least would be good.

I think we can host it on GitHub first temporarily, till we find a permanent home for it. I like textsmith.io, as it seems to indicate bringing it into new dimensions like having APIs and highly scalable software, but am not sure about how committed I am to it in the long term.
