Namedbench does not appear to work with OS/X Mountain Lion - OS X 10.8 (12A256) Developer release #219

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run as normal
2.completes the first portion - with no issues
3. Gets to "Waiting for wildcard cache queries from 22 servers, appears to hang
or slow down.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected outcome is for namedbench to complete and provide report -instead it
sits at the waiting for wildcard cache point.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OS X 10.8 (12A256), NameBench 1.3.1

Please provide any additional information below.

Have tried it on several occasions with similar/same result - on same machine,
with os/x Lion - samve version Namebench works fine - no problems.

Tried everything right through to #95 but get the same error as #49. Running OS
X 10.8.2 on a 27" iMac.

Further to my post #101, switched away from default query data source and
selected Top 2000 Websites (Alexa) and now it works. Phew!

(On MacOS 10.8.2, then 10.8.3) Finally read the comments after having failed in
the past; #17 worked for me. Except, when I chose the default browser for Query
Data Source (Chrome, whose cache I had just flushed), I got the error "FAIL:
list index out of range". Switched selection to Safari, with lots of
accumulated crud in its history, and NB ran just fine, opening report in Chrome
(should be more clear what that selection is doing).
Results:
In Mountain Lion, report shows the default DNS, set on my router, is fastest by
a long margin, while OpenDNS is #10. Curious why this is, since my router is
set to use OpenDNS.
In Leopard (which ran just fine without the #17 tweak), report also shows
default DNS in router (OpenDNS) is fastest by very big margin, but OpenDNS
doesn't show in the top 11 at all.
And, it would make sense to release an update with the #17 fix, since many
users are members of user groups receiving recommendations to use NB, but
without the expertise to make the change (or discover it in the first place).

I ran namebench without fixing the bug. It upped my speed by 3%. When I try to
fix the bug the document is locked and says I have to duplicate it. I duplicate
it and then it won't let me add new duplicated document to the contents.

#17 fix worked for me on Mavericks. I know that Google is a poor company
struggling along with only a hundred billion dollars or so, but it might be a
nice idea to make this change to the release version of the application.
