XBOX Series X won't connect #790

Want to confirm that the setup we have should work. Using an XBOX series X we have a usb to usb connection to a Host shield to an Arduino Uno. For some reason, using examples/Xbox/XBOXONESBT/XBOXONESBT.ino . Our controller never is connected according to the code. But the controller gets synced, but we don't know where. Am I missing something.

i dont think Series X controllers work. You need Xbox One model 1708 controllers.
