mobile internet hotspot - city data failure

newbie here: I noticed that when the laptop is on wifi it's working - it's getting the data about the city (in my case Tbilisi). However, when i am connecting it to my iPhone internet over wifi or usb it's slacking - says can not find the 'city'.

Interesting - would have to research this. It sounds like geolocation stops working when you use your iPhone to connect to the internet
