It would be better to explain the nomenclature (the difference between symbol { [ / -) in the beginning of the UG

Not necessary in the view of the developer; it does not offer significant added utility to the user. With reference to the image below, the information is given in the developer's guide.

Reason for disagreement: Based on what is taught in CS2101, the UG must clearly defined all the notation that is used because at the end of the day, User Guide, as its name suggested serves the purpose of guiding the user, in this case User blindly follow without knowing what is the difference.
