Going from indoor to outdoor when navigating causes directions to just be indoors

Steps to reproduce:
Click on Directions in the bottom navigation menu
Choose an indoor location as the start location
Choose an outdoor location as the destination location
Expected:
A path should lead from the indoor location to the outdoor location
Actual:
The path stays indoors within the same building
