Would have authenticate method return the key #7

For someone who is caching the key, it would make sense to have the 
authenticate method return the key.  (I realize you can get it since it's an 
instance variable but would make sense for the method to return it.)

Well, you are right: it doesn't hurt to return the key from the authenticate 
method :-)
I will add a return statement.
