I have posted this before, and further researched my own question, but I cannot find answers.

What is the relationship between Windows Terminal and Fluent Terminal.

Is Fluent Terminal the base, that was forked to Windows Terminal. Is it an OS agnostic-ish version? Is it the alpha development branch? Is it the open(er) source version.

The feature sets and implementation track closely but I cannot decipher the releationship

Hi Andy! There is no relation between Fluent Terminal and Windows Terminal.  Fluent Terminal was released long before Windows Terminal was announced.  They do not share a common code base.

Since Fluent Terminal leverages the Microsoft UI libraries, it is not possible to run it on other platforms, nor is it possible to run it on older versions of Windows. [80e7252c-5d66-43ad-a225-c32277b18977]
