Request: Tab with local search history #647

This would be very helpful to be able to open a sidebar with the search history, and also a button to delete all searches with also maybe a little button on the side of each search entry to delete that individual entry.

This would be great because I'm often having to search for things more than once, so being able to go back to see a previous search would be beneficial.

Like it would open the previous search with the same ai response and any follow up questions as well. Not just the query.

Thanks for sharing your idea! This is indeed useful.

I'll leave some considerations here for future implementation:

For privacy, this should be bound to the tab session by default. Closing the tab would wipe all the history.
A user could opt in to keep (auto-save) their history. In this case, the sessions would be stored on the client side and auto-loaded when the user accesses the web app again.
This requires a reformulation of how the data is passed through the different components of the app, making it easier to handle the saving/loading of full sessions.

Yes sounds good! My computer is private so having an option to keep the history even if i close and open the browser again would be useful!
