On dashboard - card that says - there have been X number of recent transactions into your bank account - 7 have been identified - 3 are not identified go and check your bank account - and then allow the transitions to be assigned / linked to a specific booking?[Without surfacing and transaction info.]
Nuapay account can receive funds directly from bank transfer which has, on occasion, caught us out as a customer has tried to do open banking, seen the bank details then proceeded to do the transaction as a bank transfer not an open banking payment (therefore losing all our tracking on which merchant it is for).
While we have the shared virtual trust account, this issue is very rare but has only come to our attention when the customer has reached out to the merchant and merchant has followed up with us. We then usually set up the transaction retrospectively and add the nuapay Id / reference to the transaction.
We should have a method of identifying unidentified transactions within Nuapay so we can be proactive on these issues e.g. alerts if transaction is unreconciled within 3 days of entering Nuapay account?
If we move to individual accounts per merchant, we will be able to use this as a feature to create unassigned transactions and allow bank transfers from customers into merchant's individual accounts.
