The MVP for this project would be a script that grabs basic info about open and closed issues for a given repo and returns them as some text that we can add to a google spreadsheet to track:

Number of open issues
Number of new issues
Types of issues (bugs vs. enhancements)
Number of in progress issues
Number of closed issues
Number of pull requests merged
Number of tests passing/(failing?)
Number of commits merged

Also a separate piece of copyable text for just the names of closed issues

I don't think we want the capstone teams to think they are getting scored by any of these metrics. It would be easy to game them. However, I do think if we had access to this data at standups and end of day recaps, and asked them about it, it might promote productive use of github issues.

I'm working on a chrome extension for the MVP. I'm going to call it Muffin.
