2 years ago kind of disappointing progress on c++23.
- Personally I'm not waiting for executors or networking, but these things have been talked about for ages and this sounds like it is basically back to the drawing board. It's especially disappointing that they don't seem to be able to cut to the car chase and waste time on philisophical discussions. Sounds like they need a better chairman to cut things short. At least we got coroutines out of all this.
- Also a disappointment that pattern matching and contracts are not in. And coroutine library support? Will that make it?
- And they are still in deadlock over the ABI thing. That is probably the worst news of it all.
- At least there is a standard library module coming up. That was really missing.
- For the rest it sounds like a bunch of fixes and minor convenience features.
