Beyond the long list of suggestions that I did before, there’s more:
I’m having some difficulties in my workflow, it seems I’m loosing time when I want to select multiple layers to apply actions like grouping, duplicating, etc. As I’m a Procreate user, and also UX designer, I feel they had a great solution for this, may I suggest their solution?
Layer panel gestures
1 - To select a layer from the Layer Panel, slide with your finger to the right select the current layer, slide to right some other layer and it selects the other too, slide right the next and you have 3 selected layers. Now you can do two basic actions to them, delete and group. Or if you drag them you will reorder the 3 selected layers wherever you want in the layer panel list. After the selection you also could pinch two fingers together gesture to merge the selected layers (maybe the height of layer rectangle would need to be scaled up a bit so the gesture would work better with the finger gesture).
2 - if you slide to left some quick actions in the layer could pop up next to it: delete, duplicate or lock.
3 - If you double tap a layer you could add a new action to the current one that Resprite has: Make selection (or select), all the filled pixels of the layer would be automatically selected.
Canvas gestures
4 - Follow the standard that Procreate dictated and change the focus mode "3 finger slide down" to "4 finger tap"
5 - Now add a shortcut action bar with the "3 finger slide down" like this one
It should appear in the location next where you tapped with your fingers.
6 - An option in preferences that would disable drawing pixels with the hand but the hand gestures would still work.
Misc
7 - Customize available gesture actions to other hand gestures. 8 - M2 Feature to Apple Pencil 2: hover buttons from the toolbar would pop a text label with the name of the tool 9 - Add a new shortcut button next to the top or bottom of the layer panel with the action "create new layer", maybe represented my an Icon. 10 - A way to scale up all the UI or maybe the font for accessibility. 11 - When using the move tool in a layer or by selecting pixels be able to scale, also add a shortcut nearby to flip horizontally or vertically, rotate 45 angle and also select interpolation mode: Bilinear or Nearest Neighbor. Also snap to: grid, etc. Be able to scale not only using the pencil in the anchors, but by using the hand gesture while in the scale tool mode as well. 12 - Add pixel grid view option (on / off) to visualize the limits of the pixel when we are editing in Zoom (example +500%).
