Confused by the uncertainty map and variance #7

Hi @fenglinglwb , Thank you so much for your awesome work! I have several questions for variance. As shown in the paper Eq. 4 I cannot find the outputted variance. So, how can the model be optimized using variance? How do we generate variance?
