stream doesn't start

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start the app on the phone
2. the first time, click on "check": it says it detects the camera ok, and i 
can see the camera image on the device
3. click "start". An IP:port is displayed
4. on the computer, put the address in the browser

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

In the application (in the device), it says:
Access Server: http://192.168.1.20:8080
Detected camera right. press Start [I've already pressed it]
Starting video surveillance for android, version 1.0

- no image is shown on the devide
- on the computer, in the browser, I can see the web page with the player, but 
when I hit play, video stream doesn't start, it just shows the waiting icon 
forever

On the app, the "check camera" and "start" buttons are grey. Only the "exit" 
button is yellow.

I retried several times. No luck.
Sometimes, when I hit Start, it crashes

I save similar problem , the browser shows the circular loading icon going 
round and round forever , with a black screen , no video streaming.
I use Samsung galaxy y , android 2.3.
