Import topographic map to FUNWAVE #27

Issues 1: Can I import topographic map to FUNWAVE ？ Or I have to use the depth.txt ? In the FUNWAVE-TVD3.3\simple_cases\tohoku_tsunami\postprocessing , the tohoku_dem.JPG is a topographic map ？

Issues 2: In the FUNWAVE-TVD3.3\simple_cases\sediment_rip\postprocessing ,only have a ".m" file , could you give me a ".py" file , I want use python to plot .
