but have you thought of contributing to sixel?? or pulling some features from sixel??

Sixels seem like they'd be hard to implement, and they have limited compatibility, so I don't have any plans to implement them.

If somebody made a PR with sixel support I'd be for it, but otherwise I'm not planning on it.
