I have a similar behaviour with Whatsapp: when I have no unread messages, the whatsapp badge will show 3 unread ones. This happened also in Franz, but there it was due to #pinned chats (which I don't use anymore). When a new message arrives, the badge updates to 3+1 etc, but it never gets down to 0. I've already tried clearing the service's caché as well.

Any ideas on how to clean this? It's driving me crazy. :-(

Expected Behavior
When I have unread messages, the icon in my dock should display a notification icon.
Actual Behavior
The notification badge sometimes appears for a few seconds, but then vanishes? Otherwise it doesn't appear at all. I mostly use Ferdium for Hangouts and text messages and I've seen it happening on both cases. I think I also experienced this on Franz before making the switch over.
