Same here.
In my case, the contents of Ferdium's config folder became corrupt. To correct this, I deleted both files inside %appdata%\Ferdium\config
. This should also work for other Windows users experiencing this issue. I am uncertain as to why the config became corrupt, but this is the easiest means of fixing your Ferdium install without losing all data.
You may need to delete other files inside the Ferdium roaming appdata folder in order for it to work properly after deleting the config. The files and folders you probably need to keep are as follows:
databases/
Local Storage/
* Partitions/
* recipes/
Session Storage/
WebStorage/
Local State
Preferences
* server.sqlite
SharedStorage
The files with asterisks* next to them are definitely needed, while the rest are the ones I did not delete in order to restore functionality. YMMV if you delete the others, so take a backup of your folder before proceeding if you intend to preserve your workspaces.
Regards.
EDIT: once you've recovered your Ferdium instance and configured your settings exactly as you like, it's advisable to backup your Ferdium configuration data from the "Help" menu in Ferdium's top-bar. There's an export button, which will take you to Ferdium's built-in web server. The page you'll want looks something like http://localhost:46569/export
. Save the resulting file somewhere safe and you'll be ready for whatever happens in the future.
Same issue for me. I ended up just wiping everything clean and installing and adding my services again. Took 10 min
