Steps to Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  3. In gnome-disks, if I create a Ext4 partition with "Passworrd protect volume (LUKS)", the error thrown is "Error creating LUKS device: The function 'bd_crypto_luks_format_luks2_blob' called, but not implemented! (udisks-error-quark, 0)"

Expected behavior Be able to install with disk encryption

Doing it via GNOME Disks isn't officially supported regarding Feren OS.

It's currently a disabled option in Calamares as so far enabling it causes an installation failure at the bootloader step.

Ok thank you for adding this to the milestone. Is there a way I can build an ISO myself from source ? I couldn't find the instructions or the right repo to start from. I could try to enable the Calamares option and then try to troubleshoot the installation failure.

You can just enable the option in Calamares right inside the live session before you launch Calamares.

I also want this feature as the absence of it make privacy an grave issue on the system, as almost all the other distros have this enabled. I hope you can make it work!

Feren OS looks absolutely awesome, and I'd love to install it on my laptops, but this is a deal breaker. Can you please provide some information on how to enable this option in Calamares? I'd love to give it a spin.
