Package Name or Section of Feren OS where this bug resides Where does this bug happen? (e.g.: feren-themer-cinnamon) ___

KDE System Settings > Input Devices > Touchpad > General > Disable While Typing

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

As I was typing in a LibreOffice Calc document, I noticed that my palms would brush the trackpad causing extra unwanted inputs. When I went to see if I could turn off the trackpad, I had two options: Disable the trackpad while typing, and Disable the trackpad altogether. The only option that works is Diabling the trackpad alltogether. I know in Linux Mint, there is an option to Disable the trackpad when a mouse is present. And that seemed to work fine. Whien I unplugged my mouse, the trackpad came to life and I was able to use that.

Steps to Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. This only needed to happen one time. I disabled the mouse for now in the hopes of a better option like disabling the trackpad when a mouse is present.

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

One would assume that if you choose an option labeled: disable the mouse while typing, you wouldn't get unwanted input as you type.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to help make Feren OS even better. I've been using the OS for about a week and I'm really liking it. It gets better and better over time. Very much appreciated.
