Describe the bug So, Feren OS Next currently has quite a huge performance issue. When compared to standard Feren OS (with Cinnamon) you can see that on both Live Sessions Feren OS Cinnamon gracefully wins speed tests from boot screen to desktop, and even on login screen to desktop. Sometimes this speed difference is even in the minutes difference mark. I would also compare with KDE neon itself, but that's unfair in many ways given Feren OS isn't seeking to strip Plasma down to its core KDE and Plasma experience.

Another related issue is that the Feren OS SDDM Theme's FPS takes a huge dip on VirtualBox Virtualisation compared to the Breeze SDDM Theme. Before Feren OS Next can be marked as complete, optimisations need to be made.

On the Desktop side of things:

• KWin seems to use a lot of CPU on VirtualBox if the Compositor is set to OpenGL 2.0 or 3.1
• However when set to XRender, not only is it smoother but it's also low on CPU Usage

Looking into making it so XRender is used if a VM is detected, as an option sort of like Deepin's Effect or No-Effect Mode switch.

Done all the optimisations I can think of doing, so for now I'll move this to Post-Completion and add Help Needed.

Update: This only applies to Feren OS on a Hard Disk Drive. Feren OS runs like a beast on a Solid State Drive (needs 0 optimisations, practically, outside of maybe boottime optimisations), but... that doesn't invalidate the need for optimisations for non-SSD users.
