Google Maps Directions Problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to google.com/maps
2. Click 'Get Directions'
3. Type in start location and end location for directions, then hit enter

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Have phone open up Google Maps Application and show directions to 
start location and end location.
Current Result: Phone opens up Google maps and does nothing.

What version of the android?
FRG01B

Is the phone using WiFi or mobile network when problem occurs ?
Mobile Network

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ?
Yes.

Please provide any additional information below.
Using a Motorola Droid running FRG01B (Android 2.2) on a non-rooted device.

This problem has been confirmed with the most recent build of the crx.
Tested with: http://www.google.com/maps and http://www.google.ie/maps
Page URL sent as opposed to map link.
