Possible to run in the browser? #30

Definitely possible. I'm going to try it some time.

You could also check out http://lunrjs.com/ , which, depending on your use case, may be good enough

Got some ideas on making a browser-GUI for it as well, so you can set up document processor, crawl, index and search within the browser. Check out this issue https://github.com/fergiemcdowall/forage/issues/32 , and this blog-post http://lab.klemespen.com/2014/05/19/search-server-running-inside-your-browser/

Basically same content, just pick your flavour.

Yes, you can now run search-index (the underlying library of norch) in a browser thanks to https://github.com/fergiemcdowall/search-index/pull/59
