I am not able to install [BUG] #33

extconf failed, exit code 1

Gem files will remain installed in /Library/Ruby/Gems/2.6.0/gems/ffi-1.15.5 for inspection. Results logged to /Library/Ruby/Gems/2.6.0/extensions/universal-darwin-21/2.6.0/ffi-1.15.5/gem_make.out

Hi @Ruman1234 , please describe the issue and don't suppose I'll know by reading some logs. Provide some information:

@fermoya ok I am not very technical in this i just run this command in terminal (i have macbook 2019 macOS 12.1 , Xcode 13.2.1) gem install cocoapods-catalyst-support

it says i dont have permission then i run sudo gem install cocoapods-catalyst-support

and this error comes

i tried multiple solutions but not worked for me after spending 2 days i just reach to you i hope you help this Jr dev

Check out the logs you shared above:

The compiler failed to generate an executable file. (RuntimeError) You have to install development tools first. from /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/2.6/usr/lib/ruby/2.6.0/mkmf.rb:585:in block in try_compile'

Sounds like you're missing the Command Line Tools. I suggest you follow one of these suggestions
