Document data retention in Fermyon Cloud

Document how long data is kept/held once an application and/or account has been deleted.

Is there something like a 14-day grace period before all their data is wiped to give the user a heads-up on how we handle their data?

Can @vdice or @radu-matei or perhaps @mikkelhegn please advise on data retention and how Bindle interoperates?

Can a user restore an application and application data after it is deleted? If so what is the grace period?

According to this: https://developer.fermyon.com/cloud/user-settings#delete-your-fermyon-cloud-account it is immediately. @macolso can confirm.

• We do not offer a grace period after a user has deleted their application (i.e., we'll hold onto your data and you can email us to recover it within 7 days)
• We do not offer a grace period after a user has deleted their Fermyon Cloud account (i.e., we'll hold onto your account and associated resources for 7 days and then restore if you reach out). However, you can open a "new" account with the same GH credentials whenever you desire
