Need a better way to understand what exactly the differences are between the two.
Is an invoice only for things the user/company sells?
Is a purchase order only for things the user/company buys?
If so, we need a mega restructure. Starting from terminology.
Not sure what an invoice order is. An invoice is an invoice. That's that.
Our invoice orders need to be restructured in the DB and support creation, edit, and readability in a more traditional invoice format. Otherwise it's not an invoice.
Purchase orders are what exactly? Is that just another fancy way of calling it an invoice?
It might be better to go off purchases and sales terminology from here on out.
The invoices are just include into both.
If Purchase orders are expected to follow the same structure as invoice orders, then the database also needs a massive revamp.
