The documentation pages do not provide full details for setting up modules and environment variables for GISS-GC, so we had to figure these out. Whilst it would be much preferred to avoid having to set environment variables, if this is the standard way people run GISS then we will have to stick with it (at least for now).
Now that we have figured out what's required to run on BlueHive, we should document the setup instructions.
