[x] everything in oldtests should be converted
[x] tests should export coverage and watch files unless its easy to do with vscode

Watching and exporting coverage wasn't obvious. Gonna make an issue for it. VSCode seems fine for mocha tests but need to trick istanbul or something into watching to update coverage.
