cmyth config for mythbackend PIN? #130

if mythbackend has a secutiry PIN configured != "0000", how/where do we properly config cmyth with the PIN?

there's nothing in the GUI ... manual edit of settings.xml required?

The security pin in MythTV is completely implemented in MythFrontend and does neither protect the backend nor database connection. The XBMC MythTV PVR addon does not require any configuration.

However, if you want to restrict the access to specific channels for parental control, you will have to use the options that XBMC provides: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=PVR/XBMC#Parental_Control
