Does market value apply when franchising an IDP? #13

IDPs are not included in market value adjustments because (a) the league has not historically valued IDPs and (b) our source of market value data has not been in line with our values for IDPs (see point (a)). The rules do not call out IDPs as having a different franchise tag calculation, and therefore the same problem could exist here.

I believe this was clarifying at the 2016 Draft, but there is a $50 franchise tag minimum which basically answers this question. If anyone wants to discuss, we can re-open the issue, but closing for now.
