[Offseason Bidding] How to handle a bidding war between transition to ESPN #71

Closed fffrontoffice closed 2 years ago

As blind bidding must go 3 days unbeaten to win, they close the Saturday before NFL starts so the last processing happens Monday night and owners have Monday after waivers to submit bids on ESPN that process with Wednesday's waivers.

This creates a gap where an owner is finds out on Saturday night that they need to up their bid, but is unable to do so, with the other bid processing uncontested on Sunday or Monday.

Proposal: Allow bids up to Sunday at 11:59:59pm, then process all of them regardless of 3-day window (highest wins) as we tick over midnight on Monday morning. Then players can submit bids in ESPN after waivers run at 9am.
