Must also properly define what one "waiver period" means during offseason bidding and the conditions that must exist to allow the dropping owner to re-acquire the player.
For example, if player is dropped on a Monday, in order to allow all owners to compete for the player uncontested by the original owner, the original owner would need to wait until Thursday to submit a bid. However, if other owners are in a bidding war with that player, the original owner wouldn't know since the competing bids are not public. May the original owner bid for the player on that Thursday (and beating bids placed Tue/Wed?)? If so, when the bid processes on Saturday night, the "waiver period" for bids placed Mon, Tue, and Wed have already processed, so the original owner is effectively sitting out 3 waiver periods instead of 1.
It could be argued that Monday's bids processing on Wednesday night is "one waiver period uncontested by the original owner." However, the mechanics of blind bidding don't allow a higher bid to be placed on Tuesday that would only apply after the Monday bids are processed.
Agreement that 2 midnights must pass before submitting bid again.
This section needs to clarify that it is applicable at all times of the year: https://github.com/fffrontoffice/rules/blob/master/team/free-agents.md#in-season-free-agents
